To reinforce our team, we are looking for a


Accounting Officer (100%) – Temporary 1 year contract


Why we are recruiting


You will support the accounts payable and GL team in their daily tasks. You will be assisting the finance team on continuous improvement initiatives.


Main responsibilities and roles


  • Cash allocation
In this role you will be responsible for matching daily cash entries that flow through different payment terminals and bank accounts in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
  • Perform daily cash matching for all cash transactions
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve unidentified items
  • Prepare weekly payment and collection reporting

  • Accountant role
  • Recording supplier invoices in ERP database
  • Maintenance of supplier database
  • Follow up the ageing of open purchase orders, discuss with buyers
  • Provide support for external annual audits

  • Internal control and documentation enhancement
  • Participate in the publication on the intranet of communications related to the finance department
  • Coordinate with internal auditors
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives


Formula for success

Education and Experience
  • CFC commerce or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree with accounting courses or equivalent
  • Fluent in English and French

  • Computer literate (MS Office knowledge), previous data-entry experience an advantage
