Learning and Development Officer [Kuwait]

 

We are looking for a Learning and Development Officer to support the Learning & Development Manager in the effective delivery of the overall L&D strategy as well as design, create and deliver training, trackers and learning solutions across the organization at every level.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create & update content for all J9 newsletters, presentation and training material
• Conduct the Employee Onboarding Program for new employees and other trainings as assigned by L&D Manager

• Source external training providers to support and enhance training requirements
• Manage all communications related to both internal and external trainings, nominations, schedule, plans
• Prepare and distribute certificates upon completion of training programs
• Create, manage and update attendance reports, assessments and trackers including but not limited to L&D, Employee Onboarding Program, Training Bond Undertaking, etc.
• Manage an effective document control process with folders for filing of all relevant L&D documents, training vendor contracts etc.
• Help build and maintain a strong culture of learning, performance and continuous improvement by answering training related queries
• Process paid receipts and communicate reimbursement process directly with finance team
• Coordinate and manage the Internship Program by sourcing/receiving applications for internships, collect basic information and NDA sign-off, tracking progress and prepare and distribute certificate upon completion
• Act as a point of contact for enrolling employees for SAG / AVSEC / SMS / First Aid training and tracking their validity
• Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee experience

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in HR/ Psychology/ Business Administration
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in an L&D role in Kuwait
• Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
• Aviation background preferable
• Excellent written and verbal communicator in Arabic and English.
